More About Me

Decades of experience, attention to detail and a true concierge mindset are the foundation of award-winning real estate broker Julie Towne, an unparalleled agent poised to assist with all real estate needs. This top producer proudly serves local buyers, sellers, and renters in the greater Chicagoland area. Careful property trend analysis, creative marketing and strategic negotiating are some of Julie’s many talents. Buyers appreciate her energy and thoroughness during the home search, tailoring options to fit their needs and budget. Buyers and sellers alike benefit from Julie’s creative staging services and familiarity with home design and construction.

With a personal motto of “Most Fun Ever,” Julie applies this fiery passion to every aspect of her life, especially her work. She channels her natural enthusiasm and empathy to make her clients feel comfortable immediately, earn their trust and respect, and forge relationships that extend well past the transaction. This concierge mindset is not only a distinct asset for buyers and sellers alike, but it truly sets Julie apart from her peers. As a lifelong Lake County resident, she can offer rare insights that few others can. Julie grew up learning the ropes of development and construction, as her father designed and built many of the subdivisions and homes in the Northern Suburbs – invaluable experience she draws on when assisting clients looking to build their own dream home.

Prior to becoming an agent, Julie performed and taught ballet professionally for over three decades and owned a ballet school for 15 years. She not only possesses unwavering discipline and strong time management skills, but her experience as a business owner also allows her to view real estate and decision-making through an entirely different lens. In addition to these impressive credentials, Julie taught college courses, and she strives to ensure all her clients feel empowered and educated when buying or selling. Driven and energetic, Julie applies all this knowledge and experience to give her clients only the best results. It’s no surprise that she’s earned numerous awards for sales excellence, including the International Diamond Society and President’s Circle both here at Coldwell Banker and at her previous brokerage.

Giving back to the community is just as important as selling the homes within them. In 2023, Julie and her father started a Legacy Scholarship fund at Libertyville High School, her alma mater. She also volunteers for numerous organizations and lend a helping hand wherever she can. Julie keeps her love of dancing alive as a director of a local nonprofit ballet company that helps younger audiences experience arts and culture, and she also coaches local high school girls flag football, volunteers for area food pantries and Feed My Starving Children, a charity dedicated to providing meals for children worldwide.

When you hire Julie Towne to represent you, she will coordinate, manage, and give advice every step of the way while striving to minimize your stress and protect your interests. Her experience is the key to your successful real estate transaction.
